"If you're really interested in this, I recommend seeking out classes conducted by Certified F.I.R.E. Instructors...you'll join the ranks of millions of firewalkers who have been empowered by the experience." Dr. Andrew Weil discusses firewalking - CLICK HERE (Time Magazine Published 3/14/2003) Dr. Andrew Weil, M.D.
"Firewalking or bending metal may have little utilitarian value, but phenomena of this sort can break through the stranglehold classical scientific and religious thought have placed on our self images and personal possibilities." Joseph Chilton Pearce, in Evolutions End
One of the most powerful things about the firewalk experience is the
concept of perceived reality; how our minds will make something appear as
absolute when it is not. We think it, so it becomes. That may not be
reality or truth but in our minds it is because we "think it so".
I attended my first fire-walk! I
walked 4 times! It was one of the most awesome experiences of my life!
I've been breaking out in spontaneous laughs or smiles all day because of what I
witnessed and personally experienced. The glowing red coals actually felt
cool or only warm beneath my feet as I casually walked the length of the
spread...And if humans can do that, what else is possible? Yes, it might
cause us to have to let go of much of what [we] previously believed to be true.
